my parents had 7 children at that time, so my mother had to bake a lot of bread, for the 9 of us to eat.
I do product and or service reviews on items and or services I encounter in my daily life. I give true and accurate reviews on my experience on a daily bases. I post about my hobbies, gardening, macramé, cooking, and much more. There is also many mentions of my 3 French bull dogs, and their daily activities. I make videos and and write about my propagating endeavors. What I think of products, people, places or things I enjoy. Sometimes its a personal story, sometimes a rant, be happy and nice

When I was a child in Pico Azores
My mother like every other woman on the island, baked bread in this type of hot tile oven. She would burn wood in it, then remove all the embers and bake bread on banana leaves. It was nice on the cold winter day, because it would warm our little house up. I am not sure if now there is home heating there, I know that in the 70's and 80's there was not, at least not that I had ever seen. I went back to visit in 02, and it was very cold. There was still no heating.
