I have successful cloned many of my various kinds of Basil.

I especially love Purple Basil.

 

 

I have a ton of it growing throughout my garden. 

 

All I do is top them off, take off the bottom leaves from the cutting, and insert into very wet soil, or water and new plants we be forthcoming. 

 

Basil is an herb that I do have an abundance of through out my garden, however I do not use it for culinary purposes often. I love the smell.
